Our private reserve sits just outside Bijagua town and about a 15 minute drive from Tenorio National Park and the turquoise Río Celeste — one of the most convenient rainforest settings in the area.
It is designed for one or two guests, with one bedroom, one bed and one bathroom. The home is not suitable for children or infants.
On our private nature reserve at Pera de Heliconias, near Bijagua in Alajuela Province, close to the border of Tenorio National Park. It is a short drive to the turquoise Río Celeste and about 5 minutes from the shops and restaurants of Bijagua town.
Check-in is after 2:00 PM and check-out is by 10:00 AM, with self check-in via lockbox so you can arrive on your own schedule.
No. Bird Paradise is a quiet retreat intended for one or two adults, and it is not suitable for children or infants. Our larger homes on the same reserve welcome families.
Full refund between booking and 14 days prior to arrival. Within 14 days of arrival you receive back 50% of every night but the first one; there is no refund of the first night or the service fee. Rates are subject to 13% VAT.
Absolutely. We can help arrange guided walks of our own reserve by day or night, chocolate tours, river rafting, hot springs and the hanging bridges nearby.
